About SGTech’s Cyber Security Chapter: Strengthening Singapore’s Defenses
SGTech is the foremost trade group for the technology sector in Singapore, aiming to build a strong ecosystem that advances Singapore’s position as a global technology leader.
The Cyber Security Chapter has the objective to advocate and enhance the practice of effective cyber security measures by organizations in Singapore. In partnership with other key players in the industry,CSC contributes to the enhancement of the country’s operational resilience and cybersecurity framework. Among the central goals of CSC is raising the level of awareness and embracing cybersecurity practices and implementation methods, while at the same time ensuring that there is a steady scope of trained human resources to insure Singapore’s cyberspace industry in years to come.
CSC brings IT security vendors, integrators, consultants, auditors and, legal specialists. CSC promotes transforming Singapore into a credible International Digital Hub, which enhances the strategic objectives of SGTech. This collaboration within the ecosystem expands the capability of the industry to respond to emerging cyber threats. CSC also leads delegations to significant industry events like GovWare and Interpol and hosts outreach sessions to attract new talent into the cybersecurity field.

As a co-host and speaker at SGTech's CXO-in-Conversation: Digital Trust 2024, Dr. Ding Sun shared key perspectives on how SMEs can benefit from establishing digital trust to enhance their credibility, growth and partnerships in a sustainable manner.
